and flip up your collar. Then put the necktie around your neck to that the broad
side hangs down much lower on your right side. Make sure that the seam at the
back to the tie is facing your body and your neck. Pass the wide end of the tie
over the narrow end, and hold the intersection in place with two fingers on your
other hand.
Then pass the wide side back over the narrow end. While doing this create a loop in front of the 'intersection' hold this loop open and don't pull tight quite yet. Then take the broad end of the tie and pull it through the 'V' on your neck from behind. Then, pull the wide side of the tie through the loop on the front of the 'intersection'. As a final step, tighten the tie knot carefully, pull it up towards your neck, and finally flip down your shirt's collars.
